Viral Header Graphic Contest
Thanks to Iain Buchanan, my fellow Alex Jeffreys student, I will get a new header graphic for my blog (or custom background for my Twitter account) – watch the video and then read below…
It all started Iain posted his original contest on his blog: (click here to see Iain’s original post and video).
Iain’s idea was to help a fellow beginning internet marketer out by buying a spiffy custom graphic for them – in return for the coolest or most original comment on Iain’s blog.
I think that idea was just fantastic: Iain benefits from the attention (both from the added traffic and social proof on his blog), and the lucky winner obviously benefits from a cool custom graphic for free. Cool what Alex Jeffrey’s mentorship program can bring forth…
The Next Level of Mutual Benefits: “Pay It Forward”
When everybody is happy then why stop here, right? I thought let’s reciprocate that idea and favor and pledged to run the same contest on my blog – with the same rewards.
Come to think of it – this strategy really has a lot of potential applications in marketing and business in general.
But I digress… I will let you know here when the new contest will be held – stay tuned!
